These images are a tribute to the highway. All of the photographs were made on and along roads I have travelled: from Fayette County in Kentucky to Kyoto, Japan. The images capture the atmosphere of road travel for me and very much remind me of being a child sitting in the back seat of my parents car feeling sleepy and looking out the window at the scenery whizzing by.
